which order number have the Memory Card?
Have you check the diagnostic buffer for some errors?
Ist the memory card empty or a project store on it?

When I have problems with memory cards on a PLC (and I know I have the latest project saved in TIA Portal), I use the "online access" from the Portal Project tree.  Navigate to the LAN adapter connected to the PLC with the memory card problem, and open the online & diagnostics option for that PLC.

From there, I format the memory card, and reset the name and IP address (factory reset).

Then I power cycle the PLC.

I have no had a problem loading a project to the PLC after that.

Of course, I can only do this when the system is not running, or needed running for 15 minutes or so.

Good day. I have a CPU 1512SP-1 PN PLC Firmware version 2 .1 and a 4 MB SMC memory card. When loading the project, an error appeared that the connection with the PLC was lost. And more I could not connect to it. But when I remove the memory card from the PLC, the PLC is detected with the same address that was in the project. Without a memory card, there is no way to download a project. Please tell me what could be the problem. The problem is that with a memory card it is not detected, but without it it is detected.
