I need to change the main motor for old diaper machine from DC motor of 42KW and 2270 RPM to AC motor with Drive application.

In additional to above you need to provide more information like, what is the application? What type of load & gear box connected? Do you have DC motor sped-torque characteristic? DC drive technical information like speed torque accuracy? Loading characteristic? Etc. etc. How much is acceleration/deceleration (ramp up/ramp down) time set? What type of feedback is connected to motor i.e. encoder or tacho? Is motor has external brake? What is duty cycle? How much is ambient temp, min & max? How much is humidity, min - max? What type of environment? i.e. dusty, humid or hot? What Is motor control type, speed or Torque? How much load accuracy is desired? How DC motor is controlled, via DI/DO or via bus communication? How many DI/DO & what outputs are desired?

Selection of motor requires precise engineering information. So please study present DC motor , drive data & with help of SIZER tool find out equivalent motor & drive or share above technical information here so that forum members could help you.
