I need to replace the 2048PPR encoder of 1FK6101-8AF71-1AA0 . Please give me a method to replace the encoder . I have SIMO COMU software. If i need to tune, which parameters need to adjust?

I have found some links on regarding this question, in their shows need to fix the motor to 0° electrical position and encoder on ref point ., but how to set the motor 0° electrical position.

If have any documents pls share to me

Hello,

Sinucom U is commissioning tool & not useful for encoder alignment.

Motor supply phase o deg (not sure may be R) should be aligned with encoder peak signal which needs expert skill & oscilloscope.

I suggest you to get it done from Siemens authorized service center.

I am not able to access Youtube link which you mentioned as per our company policy & IT administor has blocked it. 

Dear all ;

As an attached image give 5vdc supply to the 2 phases while watching the encoder position sin /cos wave in Occilscope.( For ex : 5dc +,-   give U-V , V-W , W-V and etc while watching the wave in an oscilloscope )  As an image rotor lock in electrical ZERO position (Sin wave in line and cos wave is in Max )  and then replace the encoder.

Is it the right method?
