Hello,

I install the Image V2.6.1 and the Smartmeter Node (Node-red-contrib-smartmeter) to my IoT2040.

Always if I configure the transport parameter and deploy it the node-red editor and dashboard is not more reachable. I have to delete the flows_iot2000.json to get it running again.

Does someone had the same problem and can help me? Or someone can help me to find out what could be the problem?

Hi,

as I got no help until now I try to get it running by myself.

I just set the IoT back to the original image 2.6.1 and try to install the Smartmeter node by the node red editor. It always end with an error. Can somebody tell me what is the problem?

I try to update the dashboard node that works. But also the serialport node is not updating and ends with errors.

Is something wrong with my IoT?

Looks like a download error, checksum didn't match. Are you on a public, unfiltered network with the device?

I do not have a physical one here, but running "npm install node-red-contrib-smartmeter@0.3.1" in an emulated instance worked for me.

Yes the internet connection should be no problem.

If you have installed the node already can you try to add the smartmeter to one flow and configure it as folowing:

Serial source type (standard parameters are ok)

Protocol: D0Protocol

Transport: SerialRequestResponsTransport

Then deploy it and check if the Node-Red service is crashed.

Hi,

I already tried building from source but that does not help.

In the meantime I used directly the serial port node and read the data from my smart meter and split the needed informations by my self.

Now I am trying to read from an other device with modbus rtu. But the same thing if I configure a serial interface in the modbus read node and deploy the node red crash and I have to delete the flow.

Can someone tell me what I have done wrong? I installed the V2.6.1 and only updated the nodes. Why the modbus node what is pre installed is also not working?
