i want to commission 2 dc Simoreg drive without encoder and i want to send setpoint via its analog input. so i have to know: 1- how can i assign on of Analog input of CUD as a main setpoint

2 - how can i define max speed of the motor without encoder

3- how can assign some of DI as start command

please determine for me the major parameter that i have to change them or a procedure to commission the drive in this way.

Hello.

1. Analog input X174:4,5 is already connected as main setpoint. Look at function diagram G113, G127-G136.

2. You must define EMF at max speed with P115.

3. X171: 37, 38 are already defined as switch-on and enable commands. Look at G110.

so it seems i have to reset all the parameter as factory reset for have the initial values, because the motors worked with encoder and by profibus communication, but i want to start it with digital input and analog input as a setpoints.

another issue is that i will not need any interface between drive and its actual output when i don't use encoder or tacho?

 What do you mean by its actual output?

 i mean that in this method(p083=3) drive doesn't have any feedback from the motor actual speed, does it work in open loop control?

and how can i calculate the max scale value, for example i send +10v to drive analog input, what does it mean: 1000 rpm??? 2000rpm???? i coldn't find relation between AI and motor actual speed

By defaul 10V at analog input corresponds to 100% of speed setpoint. Any connector in the Simoreg is in %.
