F011 Drive Fault

Now we are faceing problem drive trip with F011(over current) fault. we check every thing out side drive (motor, cable)ok. we also change CU2 boards with new reprogramed CU2 board but problem same. Drive trip for every four to Five hours. kindly recomends how to remove faults, Thanks Lot advance.

simaticmanager Posts: 150 Rating: (5)	hello, i meant the control mode regarding drive. means if the drive running in vector control mode with encoder fb or in v/f mode.if the control system is v/f mode then the fo11 is some wht external to drive prob. If it is in speed control mode then the auto tunning method may solve the problem. all the best

diwa Silver Member Joined: 9/20/2006 Last visit: 12/18/2025 Posts: 307 Rating: (97)	I have come across many cases similar to yours and found the current measurement ckt inside the drive in a highly contaminated state (eg. lot of oil or dust inside the drive on the electronics). if you can check and clean the same do and try or else get it done by your nearest siemens service centre.
