But I can not find any information whether it should be 3,3V or 5V? Does it matter? https://ftdichip.com/products/c232hd-edhsp-0/ (5V) https://ftdichip.com/products/c232hd-ddhsp-0/ (3.3V)

What type of cable are you using? I assume the connection should be RX-to-TX and RTS-to-CTS, so a cable with a single connector should work? https://ftdichip.com/products/ttl-232r-3v3-we/
