If you need this you can try PLCSIM Advanced or SIMIT , this are the products for machine simulation. PLCSIM is PLC Simulation, not more. Regards Christoph

In Proteus it works, I think in PLCSIM too

SySAd Regular Member Joined: 5/20/2020 Last visit: 1/12/2026 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Virtual serial port software (VSPD or com0com, etc...) creates only couples of virtual serial ports connected together in windows (I used them in Proteus in the same way as you did, I think ), but seems there's no way to bind one of them (virtual or hardware) to PLCSIM or PLCSIM Advanced. On the other hands I successfully debugged and tested ModbusTCP with PLCSIM Advanced and BMS Software, acting as server, running together on my pc, I also was capable to sniff the treaffic with Wireshark.
