Enabling 8 AI and Expansion DM16 24R

C0sta Posts: 73 Rating: (0)	Good morning, LOGO! 8.FS4 can support up to 8 AI, but on LOGO! Settings >> I/O Settings, I can only enable 4 AI (AI1 to AI4). I have two questions: 1. If I connect two LOGO! AM2 RTD, can I then enable 8 AI on I/O Settings, or does LOGO just recognize the expansion modules (AI5 + AI6 and AI7 + AI8)? 2. LOGO! DM16 24R can support 8 DI/8 DO and 4 MW. Does this mean that 4 MW = 4 AI, and if I connect a LOGO! DM16 24R to LOGO! 8.FS4, can I use it instead of two LOGO! AM2 RTD? Thanks in advance.

If you do not use any analog inputs on the base module or if the base module does not have any analog inputs, set the selection to 0. Then the 8 addresses for analog expansion modules are available. 0 AI in the I/O settings = AI1 to AI8 for expansion modules. 2 AI in the I/O settings = AI1 + AI2 for the base module, AI3 to AI8 for expansion modules. 4 AI in the I/O settings = AI1 to AI4 for the basic module, AI5 to AI8 for expansion modules. 2.) DM 16 24 R has only 8 DI and 8 DO. I don't know what you mean with "MW" ...
