Hello,

I am trying to connect my Logo8 to my PC with Ethernet and even though the Logo is found when press the scan button, when I try to connect I get the message saying that "The IP addresses of the PC and the target Logo are not in the same Subnet"

I have checked and double checked the IP addresses, the Gateway and Subnet Mask are identical

Any idea's ???

Thank you for your quick response

It asks me if it should try add an additional IP address, I click ok and it then has a message saying that

"Failed to assign a new IP address to your PC"

Also my Logo 8 is now stuck on the same page showing Setup, Network and Diagnostics and will not go back to the start page

can you tell us the IP-address of the PC and the subnetmask.

Go directly to the logo or through a router?

If you go through a router, please notify us with even its IP address and subnet mask.

 IPv4 of the PC is 192.168.1.74

Subnet is 255.255.255.0

Windows 7 Pro ( don't know if that helps)

I have done what you said and still nothing

I have now connected the Logo direct to the PC

It finds the Logo but will not connect still

Then give us answers to our questions.

Have you installed LSC with admin rights?

Start you LSC with admin rights?

Is the IP of the PC fix?

What OS?

I had a ladder issue and now that is fixed it worked !!
