More questions:
What type of cable are you using in between modem an CP?
The Modem will wait for the PIN first of all, can you confime this is working (otherwise the S LED will flash slowly)?
Is the baud rate setting correct?
If connect a PG to the MD, ist there any response to AT commands.
> First Try AT+CPIN=1234

Dear Members,

I was working project S7300 with MD720-3 GSM/GPRS modem I have downloaded the Application Example for the same as available on

and modified according to my existing CPU its317-2 PN/DP (317-2EK14-0A0B) and CP341 RS232C (341-1AH02-0AE0) and MD720-3 (720-3AA00)

and I used SIM card PIN : 1234, short message center number :+66923010900

I am unable to get ready signal even after giving it a Initial request, I'm monitor in SCL code program keep sending step1 (ECHO OFF) to get OK from modem but, seem like the modem echo command back to CP

please find in attachment file is my program

kindly any one explain to me what my program issue

Have you configured your Md720-3 by using AT command?

YOu have to set the baud rate of MD720-3 by using AT command.

From there you can check the Sinaut MD 720-3 working or not??

YOu have to set the baud rate of MD720-3 by using AT command.
