najed Posts: 18 Rating: (1)	There is a problem, I suppose in communication, and manifestation is that IO fields in HMI program on the TP 170 micro are full of '#' characters.Programs are written in WinCC flexible 2004.

najed Posts: 18 Rating: (1)	Dear Mr Nemo the cable is connected between TP170micro and port1 on the S7-CPU224XP by the people from Siemens office in Belgrade and that is the reson it could be good,but I don't see TP170 micro in the S7-200 Explorer, only CPU224XP connectedon on his own port 0 to PC. Cable between PC and CPU224XP has on it device mark RS232/RS485 as much as I remember and with that cable I succed to transfer programs from PC to TP170 micro. About first mentioned cable I can say that it has ends like on the RS232 with 9 pins. I'll try to find out something more about it, thanks.

The other cable between PC and S7-CPU224XP has device between ends with mark RS232/PPI Multi-MasterCable. In this configuration I don't succed to transfer project in WinCC flexible from PC to TP170 micro. I somehow try and succed to transfer project to TP170 micro by disconnecting cable MPI from TP170 micro and connectinng other cable(RS232/PPI Multi-Master Cable) to TP170 micro. But now there is a problem about functioning projects (IO fields full of '#' characters and error message about connection disconnected) whenI again connect MPI cable between TP170 micro and S7-CPU224XP.

When only PC is connected to TP170 micro by the RS232/PPI MUlti-Master cable the projects from PC in WinCC flexible 2004 Compact are transferable to TP170 micro.PC is connected on the serial port(RS232). Real problem is when MPI Cable is connected between TP170 microand S7-CPU224XP the transfered project doesn't functioning cause a lack of communication between TP170 micro and S7-CPU224XP. Now I am asking what is remedy,please...

najed Posts: 18 Rating: (1)	The adress of the panel is 1 and of the CPU 2 ,assigned by WinCC flexible in connections-parametars tab. I can say that PC is connected on physical port 0 of the CPU. I hav not try another MPI cable.

There is MPI Cable 187.5 between TP170 micro and S7-CPU224XP, also there is RS232/PPI Multi-Master cable between S7-CPU224XP and serial port of the PC desktop. In such configuration I couldn't to transfer project in WinCC flexible 2004 Compact from PC to TP170 micro. So I disconnectedcables and connected PC and TP170 micro withMulti-Master cable and I succed to transfer projects from WInCC flexible on the PC to the TP170 micro. Now i diconnected this cable and and connected TP170 micro with S7-CPU224XP with MPI Cable, but the program on the TP170 micro doesn't function ( IO filds full of "#" characters and there is aalarm message '140001 Connection Disconnected'). Is there some one to help me,please...
