You have to see how many analog inputs are enabled on the base module.

File > properties > I/O-Settings

Has the base module no analog inputs, is the first address on the first analog expansion module AI1.
Has the basic module analog inputs and there are two enabled, is the first address on the first analog expansion module AI3.
Has the basic module analog inputs, and four enabled, is the first address on the first analog expansion module AI5.

What is the complete order number of the Logo base modul?

OK, a 12/24VDC without Display.

Then is AI 5 the correct number of the first AI on AM2 RTD.

What have you for a PT?
2-wire? 3-wire? Or 4-wire?

Hi,

if one user don't know what is the right AI number he has contacted a analog sensor to, then there are several ways to find it out:

LOGO! with or wihtout display:
Open LOGO! Soft Comfort V8 and connect ot LOGO!:

Then open: Tool/Transfer/I/O-Status and connect to your LOGO! BM.
On the PC screen you will then see a list of all standard I/O's of LOGO!. Dissable all except the AI's.
Be sure all unused AI have 0 signal and then connect one sensor after the other and check which AI is it in the list.

Attached is a picture from the I/O status list.

LOGO! with display:
On the BM press up/down cursor till date and time is shown. Then press cusror right till AI's are displayed (3/4 times). Here you can see the values of each LOGO! AI. Connect one sensor after the other and check where the value is changing.

Additional notes:

Onboard AI's:
If you have LOGO! BM with AI onboard, then you can configure how many AI's onboard should be used.
In LSC goto: File/Properties/IO-Setting.
Here you can configure 0, 2 or 4 AI's onboard should be used as AI or not.

I/O-Status list in LSC V8:
If you check the attached picture, then on the button of the right hand side you can see you can also specify a Log file name. If you do this, then a CSV file will be created in the configured folder and all LOGO! standard I/O's will be recorded as long as this list is open.

I/O-Status on base modul (with display only):
If you select one of the analogue values (AI1 for example) on the display and then press "OK" on the BM, then you see this value as a trend view on the onboard LOGO! display.
