ShopMill start up problems

OvidiuNastac Silver Member Joined: 1/29/2008 Last visit: 7/26/2022 Posts: 419 Rating: (19)	Hi everyone I have problems with starting up a milling machine with Sinumerik 840D with HMI Advanced, ShopMill and Tool management. When I try to create PLC data for tool management I recive an message box with "Error on calling NCDDE server". Also when I try to start up the PLC program, the CPU of 317 enter in STOP with the massage "Internal STOP" from FB15. I can't find any explanation in documentation. Could anyone help me?

Have you looked into the commisioning guide for shopmill in DOConCD? https://www.automation.siemens.com/doconweb/content.asp?item=11023&cd=sinumerik_simodrive_10_2007_e&scope=all Your problem with FB15, I do not think is related to Shopmill, This block is generated by the Sinumerik system in systems without shopmill. It's true, the problem wasn't with FB15, but I can't find any explanation about the error massage generated by FB15 in any documentation to find the real problem, that's whay I asked. In the mean time I solved the problem. Best
