I have a scenario where I do hardware configuration for  ET 200 SP HA in TIA Portal V16 and downloaded the configuration to my PLC S7 1500.

Suppose I do hardware configuration for the same ET 200 SP HA in PCS 7 Simatic Manager STEP 7 V5.6 and download it to my PLC CPU 410-5H.

In normal condition my PLC CPU 410-5H is online with ET 200 SP HA and my PLC S7 1500 is powered off.

When my CPU 410-5H is down( i.e both the main and redundant CPU's down) and i lose complete connection to ET 200 SP HA from CPU 410-5H.

Now can I power up my CPU S7 1500 and establish communication with the same ET 200 SP HA. Will there be any configuration issues? I have taken ET 200 SP HA as an example device can i do such a configuration for any device which are compatible with both software platforms and communicate the device with either one of the CPU's at a time.

In summary I take a compatible device and do hardware config in  TIA Portal V16 & PCS 7 Simatic Manager STEP 7 V 5.6  and download configuration to the respective CPU's and communicate the device with either one of the CPU's (S7 1500 or  CPU 410-5H ) at a given point of time. Is this possible?
