I have the same problem, In TIA PORTAL V16, with changing input of PID_Compact, doesn't change output.

Split from PID Compact never changes State.

It isnt possible to simulate the PID-compact block.

So you need to run the code on an actual PLC.

Or try an older PID-compact version like Islamatefa suggested.
