SINAMICS S120 SENSOR MODULE SMC20 replacement plug n play? F07995(42)

ElecTechGeoff Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	I have a S120 Drive 6SL3120-1TE26-0AC0 with an external Sensor Module SMC206SL3055-0AA00-5BA3 yesterday out of the blue I was getting a Fault on Drive F07995(42) Drive Pole position identification not successful. I was wondering if the SMC sensor module for the encoder is plug and play replacement or does it hold a configuration or something and need to be programmed. Basically I want to swap it with a similar axis and see if problem follows to a different drive. This machine has 14 SMC20's so it would be a simple way to check
