Missing text when opening project in LSC V8.3

qwazee Platinum Member Joined: 3/30/2020 Last visit: 9/12/2025 Posts: 5446 Rating: (1064)	Hello ixo65 and others. Logo!Soft Comfort V8.3 is not working properly on my computer. All projects that I open there is void of text. Opening the same project in Logo!Soft Comfort V8.2 does not have the same problem. Please see the attachment which contains two screen grab pictures. It is the view of the same project as opened in V8.2 and V8.3 of Logo!Soft Comfort. Do you have any suggestions on a fix? In advance thanks. Attachment missing-text-objects.zip (271 Downloads)

The text is missing when opening the project again in LSC V8.3. The text is there when opening in LSC V8.2. Could someone please confirm that the attached project opens normally in their LSC V8.3.

In the image below, the 4 red and one yellow square represents the text title. The print preview does work?! The same file under LSC V8.2 (still functioning on the same PC) does not have this problem. My latest projects (October 2021) that demands LSC V8.3 cannot be opened properly. This looks like a Java problem, though it is strange that LSC V8.2 works correctly.

I can't reproduce it on my PC. Many thanks for your concern. After receiving replies, I knew that it was a localized problem. There is some problem with my installation. I have reinstalled the software. It is now working.
