Do you have the original project?

If not, it is only possible to backup project from panel using Prosave. (And restore to the same type of panel)

How do you backup/restore with a Windows-based panel?

to perform a backup you can use an external memory device directly on the Panel, but therefore you need to get inside the settings of the Panel.

If you do a Backup with Prosafe then you need the Transfer Option or at least the automatic transfer (remote transfer) has to be enabled in the Transfer settings of the Panel.

If there is a Bus error while disconnecting then I suppose there is used the direct key functionality in the project and the Panel acts like an IO device also.

I would try to get the original project, if possible.....
