Hi,

I have a consultant, that gets disconnected, when he tries to download a hardware change to a PLC (STEP 7 / SIMATIC Manager v.5.7.0.0).

He is remotely connected to our engineering station via AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop)

I seems like, it is only possible to download hardware changes, to the PLC, when you sit in front of the physical engineering station.

Anyone experienced that or have a solution ?

I'm not sure but I think the application example could be helpful for you regarding the described settings virtual environment.

I recommend also to save your project with "Save as" together with the option "With reorganization (slow)" and repeat the download again.
