Hi,

I would like to use a KTP900F Mobile HMI with it's Emergency Stop button via PROFIsafe on a system which has 2 connection points. So the operator can connect the mobile HMI to either connection point 1 or 2.

I've already tested the E-Stop button on the Mobile HMI and have it working via PROFIsafe on a test rig which has 1 connection point however, the documentation states:

So I must set an ID on the Mobile HMI and must also use the E-Stop on the panel so ID must be 1...254

Is there any way to use the same HMI at both connection points?

The ID must be set in the Mobile HMI panel settings before runtime opens, is there a way for the operator to change this ID without closing runtime?

I am having the same problem and after spending some time on the forums and with my nose in different manuals i have came up with nothing.

I used it many times.

You must set a different box ID on each connection point.

With the same HMI, you can save each box ID on the Safety Operation menu.
