CU240S DP_PM240_power stack sw fault

ani_1986 Posts: 32 Rating: (1)	Dear Expert, i am getting fault when going online to the device g120-cu240s-dp. It is showing- 1> power stack sw fault(F052) 2> Asic time out.(F060) 3> inverter over temperature(A0504) i have changed the cu240s dp module & replace by a new one but still the problem persists.The power gets the main supply when input power contactor is energized.When i am energizing the main i/p power contactor, then also problem persists & also in parameter r70(dc link voltage) dc voltage is showing 0 though i/p voltage of power module is 460v ac. Also in configuration tab no power module data is available...I have done the factory reset several times but always showing the same fault. ani_1986 Posts: 32 Rating: (1)	Dear Forum member, if any one faced this problem, please let me know....i have already changed the power module, & replaced by a new one ,then no fault is shown. so it is evident that the problem was because of power module not for cu240s dp. But i did not understand it is because of sw fault or power module hardware fault/ power module faulty...the F062 fault is showing that it is power stack sw fault... & A0504- inverter over temperature.....but why i did not understand. can you please clarify??? thanks & regards, ani.

In my experience, "Power Stack SW fault", along with other (seemingly random, obscure) errors mean that the low-voltage logic inside the PM is not powered on properly. Perhaps "SW" does not mean "software" as one would expect, but "switcher" as in a power supply fault. In any case, these (obscure) errors always mean that the unit needs repair. The "switcher" inside these is not user-serviceable at all (no fuses, cannot obtain proprietary repair parts, etc.) It could also be a problem with the logic components themselves (being "shorted", preventing complete power-up.) In either case, professional repair (or replacement) are the only two options.
