I have WinCC Unified PC v18, and faced with same problem - communication freezes for 2-4 sec

I found the solution: In Control Panel "Set PG/PC interface", access point S7Online was binded to Wi-fi Ethernet interface, but my PLC was on copper Eth. interface.

I changed S7Online to correct interface, and communication works without freezes

Split from communication break of wincc at uneven intervals for 2-3 sec,TCP-ip as protocol.
