Can we communicate S7-200 with DP/DP Coupler

To connect via Profibus, look at How can you communicate data between the S7-200 and the S7-300 via PROFIBUS DP? . Another decision is MPI connection. Look at Communication between S7-300/S7- 400 and S7-200 via MPI . Be careful with MPI connection. There has restrictions regard speed and quontity of exchanging datas. Hope this will helps. Maha Posts: 118 Rating: (4)	Hi UMENCHO Thanks... But I am not going to communicate with S7-300.. I need to communicate with SEW Drive Unit, in that S7-200 needs to act as Profibus Master..any Facility available to make 200 as Profi master.

On both sides it is programmed as a Profibus slave. It is a possibility to connect two Profibus master, to exhange data. So on both networks there should be a Profibus master. A S7-200 can not act as a Profbus master, so there should be another master active on the Profibus network. Best regards, Wizard
