This will consume AS PO , Is there any alternative to this? I have 2K+ Digital Inputs , Client wants to put all Digital Inputs 0>1 & 1>0 In Event category.

Hi, what i could think of at the moment is using "ALARM_8P", link 8 inputs to the alarm message block, set the event class to relevant message class to record the digital signals. Instead of using DI block for 1 digital signal, you can save it via ALARM_8P. If customer purchased 2k DI IO and they want to record all the signal changes, I believe DI block is the better solution which unlock all the features for them. However, if the 2k IO is soft IO / modbus signals, then have to perform feasibility study to see whether the 2k IOs are important and meaningful to record. Hope it helps. |
