i have tia advanced runtime running on computer. I have problem with datetime picker (activeX). I can not get date value to VBS function. 

I was trying with this part of code:

Dim test

dim date_value

Set test = HmiRuntime.ActiveScreen.ScreenItems("datetimepicker")

date_value = test.value

But everytime i get error that property doesnt exsists. Any suggestion?

i made some tests too with external activex component, but i think they don't work at all.

I think it's not possible to add an external component in order to use it on the HMI project...

An "official" answer from Siemens guys will be appreciate.

Hi. I've made "DIY" date time picker for RT advanced. Maybe it will be usefull for someone.

The basic thing is that DateTime datatype at HMI is actually a floating-point number where integer part is a count of days from 30.12.1899 and fraction part is a time of day.
