Hi,

Using TIA V16.

After doing an install of SIMATIC_WinCC_Panel_Images_V16 into \SIEMENS\Automation\Portal V16\Data\Hmi\Transfer\16.0\Images, when I go to download a program to my KTP900 Basic PN (6AV2 123-2JB03-0AX0) TIA crashes and I get this error:

The required file data\hmi\transfer\16.0\DeviceMapping_Lean09_KTP900.xml is missing in the installation

Tried reinstalling the panel images, and tried to do a repair using SIMATIC_WinCC_Panel_Images_V16, but i'm still getting the error.

Any ideas how to rectify this?

EDIT: It looks like I'm missing more files than the one shown above. I'm also missing data\hmi\transfer\rld and also RT files. Is there another program I need to run to install these?

I've also tried both the TRIAL version and the Image file, but both are the same.

However, I'll download both and try them again.

1- Have you checked if the correct file is in the path? It should be something like the attached image

 After extraction of the TRIAL DVD 3 software, where is the exact file path to install to?

From what I've read on the forum I believe it should be:

\SIEMENS\Automation\Portal V16\Data\Hmi\Transfer

Is this correct?

So this is new. Attempted to repair panel images and received an error.

EDIT: Attempted install again and installed ok

So with your last post the installation solved the problem?  if not, I recommend unnistall TIA PORTAL V16 and reinstall, because you cant install last update and TIA PORTAL says that you have the Update 3

Additionally, if you reinstall, please note row 685 of the following compatibility Excel, I recommend you to install the latest update to ensure compatibility and best functionality of TIA PORTAL V16.
