s7-200 and TD200 and S7-300

Red_7 Silver Member Joined: 12/9/2005 Last visit: 1/15/2026 Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Helloeverybody, I think it is possible to have an S7-200connected at the same time with a TD200 via PPIand also with an S7-300via MPI (both protocolls same baudrate etc).Am I wrong ?

Arunakat1 Posts: 217 Rating: (52)	Hello, I don’t think it will work with TD200. But this may work with other HMI. Because TD 200 only for s7 200(To my knowledge). May be others having different ideas. Best regards.

Meanwhile S7-200 can communicate with TD200 with port0. (The same manual on page 232). And I already tested this. Hello, UMENCHO’s suggestion will work together with S7 200, 300 and with TD 200. But that will be different interfaces one will be PPI and other will be profibus. As you(Red_7) assume it will not work even the board rates are same, because MPI and PPI are different. Best regards.
