If we want to make Homing active or passive with the S210 DI0 or DI1 is it possible ?

Hello,

The SINAMICS S210 supplies digital inputs. The functions are reserved and preconfigured. Digital inputs DI 0 and DI 1 are high-speed digital inputs and can be used as measuring inputs. Digital Inputs DI 2 and DI 3 form a Failsafe Digital Input.You can connect the temperature monitoring for an external braking resistor to DI 4.

That means, the digital input 3 is only for Safety integrated functions.

But, inputs DI 0 and DI 1 can be evaluated with the technology object “measuring input”. Please see screenshot attached.
