The machines have 4 to 8 G120X vfd on the machines depending on size.Is their a way to configure the PLC in Tia Portal in networks and drives in such a way that the PLC Error LED will not flash if not all the vfd are used for a specific machine Attachment Screenshot 2024-11-04 170554.png (147 Downloads)

0_Einstein Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 1/16/2026 Posts: 16379 Rating: (2522)	Another way is the use of library components that provide the hardware configuration for the 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 VFDs that you can drag-n-drop into a new project. Then drag in all the blocks / tags / udts and such. This has the benefit of resulting in a simpler application that does not require special attention to handling every possible situation to never ever enable VFDs which do not exist. thesparkylife Good day i am building a PLC program that is modular between 4 different machines.
