Is it possible to read hmi tags in scripts? in the script from buttons or io field everything works fine, but in the function called in the scheduled task neither reading or writing the hmi variable works.

Hello, you can read and write to tags, but system tags, I believe you want @UserName, have limitations because they are local to the session. For example, you can't make screen calls in Scheduled tasks.

That's why it worked on a button as you mentioned here.

 Thank you very much, I didn't think that this variable works on different rules. I will save it to the global HMI variable and I will use the global variable with the HMI tag

Just one thing.

I was taking over a project where someone did convert from old Comfort panel to Unified. There where lots of scripting involved with showing some screens. Aproximately 50 tags here written before showing the screens. This was a standard screen so buttons connections, button texts, etc was updated by this scripts. The conversion was done writing one tag after another. This made the HMI to become ultra slow. So the tip is, If writing more tags, like more than 2-3 then use tagsets instead. cahaning this the HMI got 10 times faster !!!!
