After 20 years in automation ,using also Siemens , I have never found 0 results when I google " how to set a numerical keyboard in Unified HMIs Basic".

But it's true.

If I have an HMI Unified basic, when I click on a numerical field, how is it possible to have a simple and normal pure numerical keyb. instead of the full keyboard ? I don't want to import libraries, do scripts, etc... There must be a simple solution to this....

Siemens proposes a Toolbox for HMI United Comfot panels  where there is a section discussing keyboards.

I think that the BIG problem in these gaps is that these "gaps" are related to essential things. When one migrates from Comfort panels, he expects to have the old things + (a lot of) new things.

In this case you have to do an hard digging to find the essential things that allow you to use IO fields, alarms and page navigation and this is totally discouraging. Also this thing with keyboard is simply dramatic.

I strongly think these Unified HMIs will give more troubles than enhancements.
