WinCC WebUX No Connection to server

AutoGen_7030793 Joined: 1/24/2025 Last visit: 4/10/2025 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, When I try to access WebUX from MS Edge, I get error "No connection to server, Automatic reconnect in XX seconds" (Attached photo) I am using WinCC v8.0 Upd 6 and I tried the following settings Run Web configurator wizard and created certificate Activated my project and is in runtime. When I try to access the webpage in MS Edge browser, by typing SERVER1 (My PC name), I get the above mentioned error. I even created a new project from scratch with all the settings and the error remains. I tried removing and re installing the IIS from roles wizard but no luck. Am I missing any other setting? Please perform this quick test to rule out a problem with the web browser used. - Exact version of the WinCC/WebUX Server component installed, including updates if applicable. You can see it in the Windows 'Programs and Features' application. - Is an antivirus or firewall enabled on the WebUX Server? - Has it ever worked? We look forward to your response.

Yes I did that and that screenshot is from the Server PC only. - If you use another web browser, such as Microsoft Edge, does the same occur? Please perform this quick test to rule out a problem with the web browser used. - I'll install another browser and update you know soon. - Exact version of the WinCC/WebUX Server component installed, including updates if applicable. You can see it in the Windows 'Programs and Features' application. - I installed WebUX along with WinCC v8.0 then updated with Update 6. Anyways, I'll check and post the screenshot soon. - Is an antivirus or firewall enabled on the WebUX Server? - I didn't install antivirus yet. I disabled all firewalls already including the defender. - Has it ever worked? - Good question. Yes it worked only once when I installed WinCC v8.0 and WebUX the first time including the Update 6. After that, I did creation of Server data, Redundancy settings and duplicating project to second server. Now, it's not working anymore. It's not working in the second server also. I'll update you soon on point 2 and 3. Thanks again.

Check the ISS if he WebUX Website is runnig properly. Click on the Websites folder and you can see the websites in the detail window on the right side. here check if its is started and check the Binding to the Port number. Which port Number do you use? and does another website also use this portnumber? Check also the Binding dialog and if you have added a IP or if you have only set the computername for the access. Also if the connect SSL certificate is selected. (show it also and check if all is correct) Bye Murof

I've checked the ISS, the website is running properly. I am using default port 443. I didn't add any IP or PC name there. It's just assigned as "All Unassigned" which was by default. I tried adding IP address of the server but still it didn't work. You can see my screenshot in attachment. Please advice. Thank you. Attachment IIS-3.jpg (199 Downloads)
