Hello ,please how can I disable the scroll bar during the runtime on a tp1500 working as a smart client.

the server is PC working with WinCC Advanced runtime V15.

the resolution of the server screen is 1280x800.

the resolution set in the runtime settings must be at maximum the resolution of your displaying device.
Then, the scrollbars should disappear.

Can you check which resolution is set in your runtime?

I am very sorry, to bring up this old subject.

I have the same scrollbar-issue. We have 2 machines which have on their controll case the same HMI installed with the same resolution (TP700 Comfort Panels 6AV2 124-0GC01-0AX0 7'').

Idea: Machine A always controllable by HMI of Machine B By Smart-Client.

Problem: I have those scrollbars on the right side and below. They only do not look good, they also take away space of the screen.

The size of my window of the smartclient_view is a bit lower than the maximum possible on the HMI picture, because i need to be able to always go back to the view of Machine B. So in the upper region I have an Inputfield for server IP,server PW and SmartClientView Off-button. If I maximise the window for smartclient_view -> I have no access anymore for my Input fields.

If I activate "enable menus" or "controll elements" and the window of smartclient_view is in maximum size (as the picture), i see them menu for logging in, but no menu or button to log off when smartclient is connected. How do I leave the smart client view?

The same issue, when I try to make a button. It does not matter on which layer my button has. When the window for smartclient_view  is activated (layer 0), it always covers my button (layer 28).

I would be happy for any Idea.

Your Idea worked, but as you wrote -> does not look that nice.

I found together with Siemens Support a better solution:

I reduced the window size of the smart_client_view of the client machine to: h:430 and w:720.

The scaling of the smart_client view mentioned above is activated and the scaling for the server is 1 and for the scaling factor for client view are: 430/480

Of corse the text is scaled down a bit, but still readable.

I can always exit with our task bar!

Remember: This is a solution when both machines use the exact same HMI with exact same resolution.
