How to add an extra Operating Station with an existing Engineering station

Arun_EEE Posts: 93 Rating: (0)	Software used is Wincc 7.0.. plc used is S7 400 H.. I attaching the architecture for your reference.. The project is designed as 1 Engineering Station and 2 Operating stations.. But, the 2 operating stations have been theft.. So without operating stations we have shown our client a demo.. Now we have bought the other 2 operating stations. how do I install and configure the 2 operating stations.. Jazz_M Gold Member Joined: 9/6/2008 Last visit: 5/7/2022 Posts: 1121 Rating: (86)	Hi As you have a standalone concept, you can use the WinCC reference concept in the WinCC ES, You will have to share the Network path in the OS to the ES, and then give the network path to the WinCC referenc created in the ES, and if you compile then a project is copyied to the OS. I don’t get ur WinCC reference concept as I am new to the scada… I request u to elaborate pls… I have converted the single user project to multi user project... how to generate operating station runtime program backup?? one of my frend told that we have to create a "test package" or something... he also not sure how to create it.. Also today I have copied the project and pasted into the OS.. it worked and communicated but I am able to edit the project.. actually the concept is that we shouldn’t be able to edit the project in RT software right??? Also is there anyway to convert single user project to multi user project??? Also pls tell me can we copy the all tags assigned in one project to the newly created project?? Pls do reply guys… this website is my only hope… I don’t have any other to help.. The above post was sent by private message, See the operating station in reference station has only a copy of the ES station. If you make changes in your ES then just click on the OS from the ES and say Compile with changes and the changes are updated to OS. I shall see if i can post some screen shot by tommorw. Have fun..
