We retrieve data from WinCC 8.1 to Kepware using OPC UA. We have WinCC Connectivity Pack License installed and active status, enable OPC UA Server option in WinCC Start Up Runtime but the OpcUaServer service is "paused". We tried to restart the server but the OpcUaServer service is still "paused". How to troubleshoot this issue?

Yes, I use the latest update for WinCC 8.1. The version is V8.1+Upd3.

And the certificate exists in the WinCC Certificate Manager as attached picture.

WinCC OPC UA Server Requires the Connectivity Pack license to operate (not be paused). It will always be paused until you purchase that license and install. Next, WinCC must be in Runtime of course or this is also paused and cannot be started by the user. Check these two things as they are the most common cause that I see from users.

Under Computer > Server name > Properties in WinCC Explorer, there is a checkbox to activate OPC UA Server.
Is it activated?
