Hello, The main issue I am dealing with today is that the SIMATIC Runtime will not start. I tracked the issue with RTILtraceViewer to the 'Could not create the server socket on port = 1234: Error: Itc_Tp_Bind_Call_Failed, [10013] Permission denied'. More details in the attached file. I checked that the port is free with the 'C:\Windows\system32>netstat -p TCP -o -b' command. My IT dept is ensuring me we are currently not running extra firewall, which would block this port. I followed all the installation steps described in this article (skipped to step 7 as I am using self-signed cert). I used to have a working WinCC Unified runtime back in the V17 days on this machine, but something had to change since then. I've tried running the RM as an administrator. Thanks for any advice Best regards Attachmentwincc_unified_crash_filtered.txt (103 Downloads) |

I clearly do not have everything set-up correctly as it is not working. I have followed the mentioned article, I even mentioned it in the original post. Please see the attachments for proof. I have a colleague, that did not do any of these steps manually, just installed the Runtime and it is working for him. Attachment2025-08.zip (19 Downloads) |
