Conditional Add

jreedy88 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I'm looking for a way to do an addition based on a conditional bit. I've read through the documentation and I'm either not understanding it or it's not possible. I want to do something like this: if(checkbit) value = value + 1; This may not be the best way to accomplish what I'm trying to do, and I'm open to suggestions about my procedure. The basic logic is that I want to wait for a line connected to the PLC to go high and when that happens we should add to a counter. The way it's set up right now, the program checks for this location to be high and then copies it over to a bit which is read out by a TOP server. The addition is then done by an external program connected to the TOP server. I'd like for the addition to be done right on the PLC so there's less chance for error.

I have added a positive edge to the condition. and if it is highm then the add operation will happen. Does it meet your requirements? I want to add something else.
