Is there any other blocs available in a standard library

RoySamia Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I am using the following configuration: - 2 Redundant CPU 414-4 H (6ES7 414-4HM14-0aB0 Firmeware V.4/5) - 2 ET200iSP IM152-1 (6ES7 152-1AA00-0AB0 Firmeware V2.0) - DI cards: 8 DI NAMUR - AI cards: 4 AI 2WIRE HART - DO cards: 4DO DC23,1V/20mA SD 'H' We have already received the hardware and cannot change our configuration Project requirement:Our project requirement is to use intrinsically safe IOs module (this is the reason why we are using ET200iSP); The problem is that our system must be redundant and fail safe; SIL2 is enough for us. (The IOs used in the ET200iSP does not supported Fail safe functionality and hardware redundancy) What has been recommended?To achieve this non standard configuration Redundancy / Fail safe / intrinsically safeWe have been recommended to implement the redundancy IOs and the fail safe IOs in the software. I cited:Each channel has to be read and evaluated in the standard software part. Valid values and the resultsof the evaluation have to be converted to the fail safe part of the software (S7 F-Systems). Bothchannels have to be compared together by use of the 1002 Function Block of the related library of S7F-Systems and can then be considered as SIL 2 information for further use according to the relatedsafety function (IEC 61511 has to be considered Problematic:If we were using ET200M, we would have used from the F-Library:F_CH_AI & F_1oo2_R blocs(The inputs QBAD1 and QBAD2 of the F_1oo2_R linked to the output of F_CH_AI)In our case all the part of the program related to IO’s acquisition must be in the standard part program of the CPU, and the processing program in the fail safe part of the CPU.In our standard part of our CFC program we have to use the equivalent of the F_CH_AI blocs , we only find the CH_AI bloc from the PCS7 library. [snipsnap] Second question: Is there any other blocs available in a standard library because we cannot find our hardware under PCS7 category. (we have download the PCS7_V70SP1_Package_CPU_S74H_V45 and our CPU is still not visible under PCS7 category) [snipsnap] Fourth question: This is a repetition of question 2, does somebody can confirm that when using a CH_AI bloc, if the Mode input is not generated automatically when compiling the chart, this means that this function cannot be used with our hardware? Yes, this means the module in question has not neen released for use with PCS7. Regards

You need buy this option separately so you can use Failsafe library (and block you are looking for). Regards
