AI input , CFC charts how can i convert this into ohms calcualtion, there is chart available in AI help, ohms and respective hex deicmal values but i do not how to interpolate, can somebody help me?? and also what is RTD 4L, RTD 3L in Hardware config. i have PT100 , 3wire how it is be configured in hardware config?? 4L STD, or 3 L -150 OHMS pandu

ABN Posts: 212 Rating: (12)	Hi Pandu1232, As you have mentioned DCS I assume you are working with PCS7 system. Please do following steps: 1. In HWConfig please select the appropriate configuration. 2. Create a CFC with putting CH_AI block from PCS7 standard library .connect IW and compile the project with "generate module Driver".Put range as 0 to1. 3. after compilation a "mode" shall be created automatically and you will get the value at op of CH_AI block By the way number that u have mentioned 6ES7.... is called MLFB of the AI module. I never know what is actual meaning of MLFB.
