ABN Posts: 212 Rating: (12)	Hi Canan.tas, When u installed enabledcom.reg, did u get the message that, "registry updated successfully"?? I recommend if you are re-installing the PCS7 take image of the system first. Also its always recommanded that format the machine completely. Also did u tried the option no.1 suggested by me of installing ne SQL server instance group from SQL server vizard? I have tried this option several time and it has worked, If you have made your mind to reinstall then try this option first All the best..!!

canan.tas Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hi ABN, I have received the the succesfull message after running the enabledcom.reg file and also restarted the computer but the SQL server didnt start again. I have also tried to make a new SQL registration with Enterprise Manager but interestingly I was not able to see the local computer name in the list, so I have typed it manually but it was not able to connect to the local server with the message " Local Server is not found or access denied.".
