F0011 with 420 but not in 440

klina3 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello,we made an aplication for 9,5kw motor with 440, it worked ok all the time it was on.After a while we needed the 440 and changed it for a 420, we put the same parameters in the same motor,. It seems toworks for a while but after a time it seems on display F0011, we revised all the parameters again, there are all the same ason 440. My question is, dowe have passed some parameters that don't need to be writing on 440 but in 420? I have to say that the aplication don't need to have a 440, it was on stock.

Make sure all your motor data is correct from the motor rating plate (specifically parameters P300 -P311). Also check P335 is set to the correct cooling type. (Check the wiring method, star/delta) If you know the thermal time-constant of the motor, then great, enter it into P611, sometimes, this is also shown on the ratings plate. If it is a Siemens motor, then check the help file for P611 to see a table of settings for P611 (otherwise, for a 2 pole motor around the 10kW mark would be something like 720s - only a guide) Afterwards, set P340 to a "1" to perform a calculation of the motor model data for the 420 drive (or if using Starter, select Complete calculation in the configurator) Set P1910 to a "1" to perform a motor Identification (You will need to givethe drive ON command within 30 seconds or you will get an error message) Set P971 to a "1" to permanently store any parameters changed. Check r0034 (This is a percentage value of the threshold in P614) If this threshold is reached, then the reaction programmed into P610 will occur (i.e. F011) You could safely change P610 from a "2" to a "1", then the inverter willdrop the output current and therefore frequency to reduce the motor temperature (Assuming your process allows this) Hope this helps.

We made p340 = 1, same, connection wire are ok. If we change P0610 from 2 to 1 we still have the fault, motor is not overtemperature because we tuched it and its cold, P0335 is the correct type. I would like the thermal time-constant but unfortunately i do not. There's something im missing that is diferentbetween 440 and 420? Thanks again

Thanks again Dear klina3, Did you checked that you have completed the quick commissioning wizard by entering all motor parameters (please have a look on the attached picture). And are you sure that you have finished the quick commissiong by entering 2 or 3 in P3900? As you said that the motor is cold and F0011 appers, I am agree with Graemethat you have to make motor identification. Please follow the steps in his post. klina3 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Thank again for your reply, We did quick comissiong again, we put P3900 = 3 and P1910 = 1, now the fault becomes later, but still coming out. As it seems to be a motoridentification fault i would keep trying it.
