Hello,
What do you mean about that ? If you have two PLC first open two projects at a time. Then configure PG/PC interface for your online interface and go online. If you need to monitor both PLCs at a time you need to connect them to the network. If you do not have ethernet modules CP243-1 then use PPI network. How to connect them into one network you will find in S7-200 documentation which comes preinstalled with Step-7 Micro/WIN. Also you can download S7-200 manual from internet here. Also useful is S7-200 programming tips. You can find them here.
First decide what interface you will use. Next make a cable for interface and connect to TP270. You can use PPI and MPI if you want in your case. Cable is the same. The easiest way is to use Siemens Profibus connectors (with screws) and Profibus cable. Then you connect cable to connectors and connect PLC to HMI. In WinCC Flexible choose PPI or MPI as your protocol of communication. You don't need to use PPI programming cable for HMI as this cable is simply converter from RS485 (PPI) to RS232 (serial). PPI and MPI uses RS485. The same is for HMI. So no special converters needed. Some useful info for you here as well. |
