(I know it's not allowed however we have to... Just life...) We were working on different CFC and during the removal of some unnecessary blocks from the CFC chart something went wrong and now when we open the CFC chart: 1. it's not possible to see the OCM parameters, but the blocks are still existing. 2. I have noticed that when you open OCM view of faulty block the filed 'Name' in 'General' page is empty - usually it has some entry (like entry CFC(1)/1) - which most probably creates the internal dbase link. 3. When I try to delete the block the message 'Cannot read OCM attributes. Possible reason: The system may be bussy. Please try again.' appears. 4. I was able to cut-paste faulty block to the new CFC chart - the new one still cannot be deleted. Message 'Cannot read OCM attributes...' reappears 5. Consistency check does nothing - everything seems to be ok. 6. The save as function with reorganization (slow) chrashes with 'Cannot read OCM attributes'... Perhaps somebody knows a tool or a way how to clean the Simatic Manager internal database from this inconsistency? Can we just recover from backup and move charts from the 'broken' project to the recovered one? Kind Regards, Tom.

It seems that I have the same problem when i try to "Save as with reorganization". Hi. Yes. We have recovered the version from backup (one day before) then we have moved the CFC and SFC charts. Full compile and download to AS and OS. Luckily we haven't done any changes in the HW and block's interface (if you change them don't forget abuot them). Another time I had problem when moving the PH folder containing some CFC's - something went wrong and CFCs where not moved correctly. 'Save as with...' was craching again. At this time: 1. I made a backup of broken project (just to have one in case of total project damage). 2. I've recovered project from multiproject backup (day before) and moved the PH branch with CFC (one that caused the problem during move) into the old place in the broken project. 2a. I've deleted then the PH branch that was not correctly moved (in the broken project). 3. Then in the broken project "Save As with ...' and this time it went ok. I cannot guarantee that this will work every time but you can always try to backup the broken one and play a bit to repair it - especially if you know what was the last thing you've done before the project became broken. Note: Be carefull also when you change the SFC type interface -> if you have instance in CFC this may lead you also to 'Cannot read OCM message...' when working via network. Regards. Tom.
