Hello, The OP27 was replaced by the OP270. The OP270 was then replaced with the MP277. You mentioned that you are wanting to communicate to a S5 CPU. Please note that the MP277 does not have an AS511 port. This means that you will need to communicate to the MP277 using Profibus or possibly Ethernet. I hope this helps. |

Hi, Have you seen this: Delivery release: Service Pack 2 for SIMATIC WinCC flexible 2008 When you look at new functionality, I see Simatic S5 AS511 communication for HMI devices. Looks there is a driver added, to use Simatic S5 AS511 Perhaps this link, might help: how is the connection between a Windows-based panel and a SIMATIC S5 set up? Best regards, Wizard |
