cpu 928b run with no program inside?

hazem Posts: 329 Rating: (6)	Dear Expert Is it possible that cpu928b came to run mode even no program inside? one day i missed the program then i made overall reset for cpu then i made run i found run led came on but nothing of function was working at all how this can happen is step5?

That would be a simple YES answer dear hazemand the same is alsopossible for an S7 CPU. Why do you think an S5 (or S7) shouldNOT be allowed to go into RUN mode without a program inside of it (or what concerns do you have about this behaviour)?

AMAZINGAHMED Posts: 719 Rating: (88)	It's normal for any CPU to go in Run mode without any blocks loaded. The CPU indicates Run mode, but nothing actually runs.The CPU will go into Stop mode only if you forced it to do so, or upon a fault. Therefore the Run mode here indicates a healthy CPU.
