TR Sadiq Hi Sadiq, From Load Cell you will get the mV Signal, in your Setup there is a any type of converter Which Converts the mV to 4-20mA, if you are using such a setup then in the Logic you have to do the Some Trial & error method, you have to Subtract the Dead Wight Count from the Actual Count & then Scale. if you are Using the Siwarex the life is so easy & Calibration takes only few Steps.. in your case you can't used the Taring(Zeroing) Function. Enjoy.....

Catch Me If You Can Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	Hi, If you are using analog module,there is an option for u to use Omron meter through which u can do tare. But the best way is to use a Siwarex module.

Hello Sadiq, In this case, you do not have to use Siwarex module. You can use AI standard module. And in your program, use FC105 for scaling. And to show the load cell value on the HMI for instance, Let me asume that the load cell output 4-20 mA is as follows: 4 mA is equivalent to 0 kg 20 mA is equivalent to 100 kg While the dead load is 60 kg. Then the out of FC105 will be a value between 0 & 100 kg. Or Actually it will be a value between 60 & 100 kg. Take Output value of the FC105 and subtract from it the dead load value and output of this fuction will equal to the actual load you are measuring ( the value will be between 0& 40 kg.) Hope you will undestand. TR Sadiq Hi Sadiq, yes you are right you have only 1500 Kg Sapn for the your product Measurment weight, I am agree with Ammy subject to know your application. I mean here you may measure load of a tank using three load cells. In this case, the load will divided by three. But if you have only one load cell and its rated load is 2000 kg, And if the dead load is 500 kg, then you have only 1500 for Span. If you are in this situation, you do not have any choices except of order a different load cell with rated capacity > expected load + dead load. Hope this helps.
