Programming question

Nosferatu Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello all, I'm new to programming Logo (or any other PLC) so please bare with me. I want to use a pushbutton (pulse pushbutton) to start a contactor. My question is if it is possible to use the same pushbutton (pulsing it again) to reset the contactor. I guess i will have to use a latching relay or something but I would like to avoid the problem of, if keeping the pushbutton pulsed (by operation error) the contactor would be on and offrepeatedly. If someone could give me a hint it would be very much aprecciated. Thanks in advance.

cdrshort Posts: 134 Rating: (16)	normaly a pulse logik relay need two singals at its input for to change its state (on-off) even the latch logik relay need to receive a reset input for to be able to come in on state again. so normaly if your button still make a contakt it's not a problem. but if you dont want to warry about then you could use a timer ( delay on) which will reset the logik after a few seconds.
