CP 527 Fault

HassanShahat Posts: 70 Rating: (0)	Dear friends I've S5-135 system with CP-527 Monitoring and during operation the CP fault LED goes ON and as a result the main CPU S5-135 (6ES5-928) goes to stop mode and warm restarted and causes the process to be interrupted with product damage. We checked the Stack of the CPU and found only the bit (( Warm Restart after power failure )) ON But the only note is that the sequence as mentioned in the above discussion Please I need your help and also how to communicate with the CP-527 and if there is any docc. please guide us. Because the CPU' room was nearby to high voltage transformer. (Sorry most probably this info couldn't helps). I want to mention - for communication with CP527 needs COM527 package. Late Platinum Member Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 5/11/2025 Posts: 2705 Rating: (321)	Hi Hassan, Normally the keyboard uses 15V from the power supply, in the old powersupplies it was a extra board, in the new ones not any more. Because this is an extra board into old power supplys you have to check the 15V power LED on the front of the power supply. Normally in the power supply can you also set a jumper that way that the CPU goes into stop when there is something wrong with the power supply.
