Dear Experts,

In my current WinCC V6.0 Project I want to use Russian language for both Graphic Runtime as well as Alarm/Event Messages. (I mena one can toggle between both language English and Russian)

For Graphic PDL runtime I think Easy Language Tool works.

But my doubt is with Messages. The concept which we are going to use is :

We are using Multiproject with severals CPUs and we have first defined Message numbers for each CPUs.

Like for no.1 CPU message numbers from (10001 to 30000).
no.2 CPU messgae numbers from (30001 to 50000)

Main ideais only WinCC Tags imports will be done via AS-OS tool but not the messages.

And now we aregenerating/adding all our messages in predifned excelsheetst(includesproper message numbers and VB macro)and afterwords we will import all messages from those excell files.

My question is In this case How can I convert my alarm texts in Russian language?In the period of Engineering all messages and texts are in English.

In this case Text library will work? and if so then How and what points should be taken care for such case???

Thanx for very instant reply. But Can you make me clear that what will be the differance in these two process as far as WinCC message handling is concern?
1) Importing messages with AS-OS Tool from multiple project
2) importing messages from Excell list.

What I think ,
f you go with AS-OS then CPU will provide ID number to WinCC(from some SFBs)and WinCC responds the appropriate messages.
And
In second case CPU will generate corresponding trigger bit and appropriate message will be triggered.
Is it true?
I mean Are these both process affect text library in diffent ways? I mean Text library is having unique number of each text.

How can this different language charcters represented in Messages if this messages are stored as String Data type in System?
